BOBBI BUSH

Born and raised in Alma and a 1985 Alma High School Graduate, Bobbi pursued a career in Human Resources and retail management within the pharmacy and logistics industries and moved out of the area. She moved back to the area in 2023 and is currently the owner of Bread Works, a Cottage Law Home Bakery in Alma. Bobbi is also a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at Zenlightenment Wellness Center downtown Alma. Bobbi has participated in several Ragnar Relay races (200 mile races from Muskegon to Traverse City). Just tie up her shoes and go!

MIKE SWIMS

Born in North Carolina and raised in Northwest Indiana, Mike came to Michigan in 1973 to enroll in the pharmacy program at Ferris State. He spent most of his adult life in Oakland County, serving as a field supervisor for 20 years at Perry Drugs and Rite Aid Pharmacy, and is now a retired pharmacist with 50 years of licensure. He continues to work part-time at Genoa Healthcare in the Gratiot Integrated Health Network building on Wright Avenue. Fun fact, according to Bobbi: Mike is related to author William Faulkner and Daniel Tucker (as in the song “Old Dan Tucker”), though he is not related to singer/musician Teddy Swims.
