Annie Sanders

President & CEO

Annie joined the United Way staff in July 2018 and is a lifelong resident of mid-Michigan. She has a deep passion for her community and a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for those around her. As the leader of United Way of Greater Central Michigan, Annie’s role is to establish a clear vision for community impact and guide its achievement through the efforts of a diverse, high-performing team of leaders, staff, and volunteers. A key aspect of her work is raising funds and strategically cultivating relationships with partners and donors to maximize the organization’s reach and effectiveness. She strives to leverage United Way’s breadth of community presence, relationships and strategy. Annie is dedicated to reinforcing commitment to UWGCM’s mission and creating lasting social impact that leads to stronger, healthier communities and better lives for all.
